1. Who we are
Ask Me Jesus, at askmejesus.com and in the Ask Me Jesus app, is owned and operated by Alephraez Publishing And Trading Ltd., a company registered in British Columbia, Canada ("we", "us"). Contact: support@askmejesus.com. By buying or using Ask Me Jesus, you agree to these Terms.
2. Age
You must be 18 or older to buy or use Ask Me Jesus.
3. What Ask Me Jesus is
An AI system that answers in the voice of the historical Jesus, drawing on the biblical record, the Egyptian and Coptic manuscripts, historical records of first-century life in the Holy Land and, when chosen, the present-day web. It is offered for reflection and curiosity. It is not a church, a member of the clergy or a religious authority. Answers are not instruction, and not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. The digital Jesus voice does not forgive sins, pronounce salvation or damnation, prophesy, judge anyone's standing, or take sides in politics. With General chosen, the digital Jesus voice takes no side between traditions. With a tradition chosen, the digital Jesus voice answers within that tradition and speaks against no other.
4. AI can make mistakes
Answers are produced with the help of artificial intelligence and can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, including the sources cited. Please check anything important, including any citation, fact or figure, before relying on it. Answers do not represent the views of Alephraez Publishing And Trading Ltd.
5. Using Ask Me Jesus
Ask Me Jesus is for personal, non-commercial use. You may not use bots or automated tools, resell or publicly share codes, try to get around question limits or safeguards, or use the service for anything illegal or to harm anyone. We may suspend a code used in breach of these Terms.
6. Purchases
Question packs: 33 questions for US$1.99, or 88 questions for US$3.99.
One-month pass: US$5.99 for 30 days, up to 33 questions a day (a day starts with your first question and lasts 24 hours). The pass does not renew.
Monthly subscription: US$5.99 a month, up to 33 questions a day (a day starts with your first question and lasts 24 hours). The subscription renews automatically every month and is charged to your payment method until you cancel. You can cancel at any time: on the website and in the Windows app from the Microsoft Store, through the Manage subscription button, which appears when you enter your code, or the link in your Stripe receipt email; in the Android app from Google Play, through your Google Play subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next charge, and you keep access until the end of the month already paid.
We may change prices. Subscribers will be told before a new price applies to them.
7. Refunds
On the website and in the Windows app from the Microsoft Store: a full refund within 7 days of purchase if you have used 2 or fewer questions, through the refund link on the page. In the Android app from Google Play: purchases are handled by Google Play and refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. Where the law where you live gives you more rights, those rights apply.
8. Privacy
How we handle information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
9. No guarantee
Ask Me Jesus is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or free of errors.
10. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Alephraez Publishing And Trading Ltd. and its directors, officers, shareholders, employees and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any decision made or action taken based on an answer. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a new version. Continuing to use Ask Me Jesus after an update means you accept it. Subscribers will be told of significant changes.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
